Target Grades: Grade 1 to Grade 6
*High Student Interest as 3D Printing is all the rage these days!*
Program Description: With this program, your students get to bring three-dimensional design and oral storytelling to life!
Students select a base character archetype which is printed live in the classroom on a safe, enclosed 3D printer, demonstrating advanced manufacturing tech. Working in collaborative groups, students author a creative story centered around this 3D character. Using child-safe 3D printing pens, they design and construct their own custom settings and props, culminating in a live puppet-show-style dramatic presentation.
Curriculum Alignment: Hits English Language Arts & Literature: Creative Writing, Collaborative Storytelling, Dramatic Play / Oral presentations, and Science: Practical Applications of Technology, Understanding Materials, Manufacturing, and Design Processes.
*This program combines the ever popular 3D printing technology with the limitless boundaries of the imagination! Watch as students use their creative skills, work in collaboration and use one of the most in demand technologies to bring their imaginations to life in a wonderful display of creativity*
